As an Ambassador, you will join forces with one of the following teams: Guest Services, Exhibit Attendants, Theater Attendants, Legends of Lightfall (Kids), Guided Tours, and Ambassador Support. These six teams create a family that will come together to help accomplish the Vision and Mission of the Legacy Center, while building unforgettable relationships.

Guest Services
OBJECTIVE
- Create an environment that invites people in, making them feel welcome and ready to receive the intriguing exhibits and entertainment we offer throughout the Legacy Center.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Welcome guests as they approach the Legacy Center, as well as, in the Lobby
- Oversee the info desk and be equipped to answer any questions or concerns
- Stay knowledgeable of exhibits, shows, and events
- Make a positive impression on guests that helps them feel valued

Exhibit Attendant
OBJECTIVE
- Captivate guests by showcasing exhibits while enticing them to pursue everything there is for them to explore.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Oversee specific exhibits
- Be joyful and available for guests to ask questions
- Familiarize guests with building flow
- Stay knowledgeable of exhibits, shows and events

Theater Attendant
OBJECTIVE
- Create a seamless flow from entrance to exit that allows guests to be fully immersed in the theater experience.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Usher guests in and out with the utmost politeness and discreetness
- Be fully aware of, and be able to handle, any disturbances
- Stay knowledgeable of shows and schedules
- Operate theater equipment needed to begin the show

Legends of Lightfall (Kids)
OBJECTIVE
- Engage families as they explore and interact with the history of our faith, encouraging parents and children to be hands on with the exhibits and truly engage in all the possibilities Legends of Lightfall has to offer.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Be knowledgeable on all things relating to the Legends of Lightfall
- Engage parents and children to promote interaction
- Assist parents that may need an extra hand at times
- Alert Area Lead if any parents/children are lost or if you notice anything suspicious or out of the ordinary
- You will NOT be responsible for any child, parents will be present at all times
SKILLS
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- A love for kids and families
- Patience and compassion for ALL children
- Encouraging communication skills to help familiarize parents
- Experience with kids is preferred but not required
Guided Tours
OBJECTIVE
- Our Guides will deliver a more immersive view of the Legacy Center. They will engage and educate diverse audiences creating a more connectable experience of the history and culture provided, giving them a chance to be open to the teachings of the Bible and a God who loves them.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Guiding groups through the Legacy Center
- Educating each group on all exhibits offered
- Stay highly knowledgeable of each exhibit
- Be equipped to answer any questions or concerns
SKILLS

- A love for history and interacting with people, creating an excitement for learning

Ambassador Support
OBJECTIVE
- Provide extraordinary support to both the Legacy Ambassador team and staff helping fill in the gaps and create a seamless experience for every guest that arrives on campus.
OPERATING DUTIES
- Administrative duties, both at the Legacy Center and in the office
- Assist fellow Ambassadors with check-in
- Supporting Ambassadors during their shifts
- Support Volunteer Coordinator with on-boarding, scheduling, training, appreciation and fellowship events
SKILLS
- Basic computer, email, and iPad skills
- Organized and task oriented
- Achiever personality
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Enthusiasm about the Bible and the Legacy Center
- A love for people and customer service
- Tact and eloquence when speaking with guests
- Positive attitude in every situation
- Be knowledgeable of safety policies and emergency procedures
- Basic computer and email skills for training, scheduling and communication
- 15 years of age or older – minors must be approved by the Volunteer Coordinator and have written parental permission
- Availability to complete online and in person training
- Minimum commitment of 6 months
- Stay in communication with your Area Lead regarding possible absences
- You will go through training on your prospective area before you are given your own shift.
- You will be a part of a small team with an Area Lead who loves to teach and find ways to help you use your giftings well.
- We will have 2 training events each year that will include workshops, updates on what’s happening at the Legacy Center and information on any new policies that may be in place.
COMMUNICATION
- Your Area Leads, Captains, and Volunteer Coordinator will be available throughout the week for any questions or concerns you might have.
- Feel free to invite one of them to coffee to strengthen those relationships and get to know each other better.
WHAT TO WEAR?
- We will provide each Ambassador with their own shirt and badge. You can pair that with your own black pants. (Black jeans are okay.)
REFRESHMENTS
- Light snacks and water will be provided. (Snacks cannot be inside the Legacy Center)
- You will also receive 15% off of our Fountains Restaurant.
PROMOTIONS
- When you are ready and feel called to start in a leadership role let your Volunteer Coordinator know and we will begin the training process.

- Think of this as a conversation where we get to know each other to see if this is somewhere you would like to serve and discuss which area is best suited for you
- We will create a serving schedule for you and do a quick training on our volunteer app
- You will also receive any material that may need to be studied to make sure you are knowledgeable on the history related to the areas you will be serving
